    Anti-Brexit British Media

Part 9 April 17th 2019 – On BBC Radio 4, Boris Johnson's anti-Brexit brother, LEO, said that he disapproved of the nationalist perspective. He said this in an episode of the radio series that he co-presented: "FutureProofing". The Johnson clan were all anti-Brexit, except for Boris, although Boris' true allegiance is in doubt. Leo Johnson followed in his father's footsteps by working at the WORLD BANK. His father, STANLEY, also worked at the EUROPEAN COMMISSION. April 18th 2019 – there was an interesting softening in the anti-Brexit perspective from the aforementioned FRANKIE BOYLE in his "Frankie Boyle's New World Order". Boyle indicated that he would be more open to Brexit if it had a left wing stance, as championed by the pro-Brexit guest, GRACE BLAKELEY, an Oxford educated research fellow at the centre left think tank, IPPR. Boyle criticised the EU, saying that it was a "neoliberal institution". Blakeley added that the EU was anti-democratic; very racist; a bully; and a very 'free market' institution. Blakeley was treated with seeming respect by Boyle and the regular anti-Brexit panellists (Sarah Pascoe and Miles Jupp). Are the BBC, in general, softening their bias because of the delay till October for the next leave date? Part 10 below

    Openness and Espionage

Part 3 Openness about sexual issues is being encouraged as the Ruling Elite push us towards a more sexualised society. In 2019, two British mainstream TV channels started sexual counselling shows on the same evening: April 26th 2019. BBC1 aired "Sex on the Couch", whilst Channel 4 aired "Sex Tape"; the latter billed as an innovative social experiment. Part 4 below
  3. Mental health has always been a crucial issue for the Ruling Elite because anyone who challenges their rule is likely to be dismissed as mentally/emotionally unhealthy. The rise of the Ruling Elite's New Age movement - and its' embrace of the subconscious mind – means that acceptable mental health is being redefined to accommodate intuitive knowledge and altered states of awareness. The WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION declared stress to be the health epidemic of the 21st century. British high street banks have been participating in mental health awareness in the 21st century, e.g. LLOYDS BANK, in partnership with MENTAL HEALTH UK, ran adverts on British TV (2018) highlighting mental health prejudices. Mental health is discussed in my article "The United Nations' Fake Spirituality" in the Think Tanks section. The MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION (MHF) is a British charity that has promoted mindfulness to treat depression. The MHF has numerous alliances with other mental health groups, e.g. it belonged to the MENTAL HEALTH ALLIANCE. The MHF was founded by one of the founding fathers of brain chemistry: DEREK RICHTER, who got a Rockefeller Foundation grant to set up a psychiatric lab. The MHF President in 2018 (formerly it's chairman of the trustees) was the WORLD PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION President, DINESH BHUGRA, who at the TAVISTOCK & PORTMAN NHS Foundation Trust was a Non-Executive Director. The latter Trust was a merger of the influential TAVISTOCK CLINIC with the PORTMAN CLINIC. The Portman Clinic in its early days attracted distinguished figures of the day – its early honorary vice-presidents included Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Havelock Ellis and HG Wells. The MHF Chairman of the Trustees in 2018 was KEITH LESLIE who worked at ROYAL DUTCH SHELL; MCKINSEY; DELOITTE, and was a Fellow at WINDSOR LEADERSHIP, an educational trust originating with the Queen's husband, The Duke of Edinburgh, and with the influential British management writer, Professor Charles Handy. Windsor Leadership used the teachings and ideologies of Professors Charles Handy and JOHN ADAIR, both regarded as pioneers of modern day leadership theory. Adair, also a Fellow at Windsor Leadership, worked at Windsor Castle at another Duke of Edinburgh inspiration: ST GEORGE'S HOUSE, where Charles Handy also worked. Adair served at a UN offshoot: the UNSSC, a UN college, where he was Chair of Strategic Leadership. The MHF published a report on mindfulness in 2010, written by the British mindfulness 'expert' ED HALLIWELL, who was a co-chair of THE MINDFULNESS INITIATIVE, a policy institute that partnered with the MHF, and which supported the Mindfulness All-Party Parliamentary Group (MAPPG) to develop mindfulness-based policies for the UK. Halliwell co-wrote and co-edited the MAPPG's Mindful Nation UK report. Halliwell was part of the UK Parliamentary mindfulness teaching team, leading sessions for MPs and their staff. The Mindfulness Initiative had partnerships with the four mindfulness training and research centres in Britain: at Oxford, Exeter, Bangor and Sussex. The Mindfulness Initiative's patrons included the comedy actress and mental health campaigner, RUBY WAX, who endorsed Halliwell's co-authored book "The Mindful Manifesto" (2010), written with the British TV presenter/commentator Dr JONTY HEAVERSEDGE (BBC1 and ITV). "The Mindful Manifesto" included a foreword by mindfulness leading light MARK WILLIAMS and an endorsement by the LSE economist BARON LAYARD (Richard Layard), an adviser to the Mindfulness Initiative. Layard was an 'expert' on happiness (apparently), so was recruited by the UN for their annual WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT, co-edited by Layard and the UN Secretary-General special adviser JEFFREY SACHS and by JOHN HELLIWELL. Helliwell, a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, collaborated with the renowned psychologist DANIEL KAHNEMAN and with the renowned Harvard political scientist ROBERT PUTNAM (CFR, Trilateral Commission). Layard thanked Daniel Kahneman in his book "Happiness" (2011, second edition), writing that Kahneman had inspired him at some LSE lectures, then later invited Layard to Princeton University. For more on Kahneman, see my article on intuition. Layard promoted meditation and mindfulness in "Happiness". Layard, a Labour Party supporter, spent many years at the LSE where he founded and directed its' CENTRE FOR ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE, the latter financed for many years by the government-backed ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council). Mindfulness guru Mark Williams (see above) advised The Mindfulness Initiative. At one of the aforementioned mindfulness centres (Oxford), Williams was the founding Director, having taught at Oxford University, which runs the Centre. Williams' co-authored book "Mindfulness" (2011) was endorsed by Ruby Wax; comedy actress GOLDIE HAWN; and 'emotional intelligence' promoter DANIEL GOLEMAN, whose uncle ALVIN WEINBERG was a top nuclear physicist involved in the American MANHATTAN PROJECT that produced nuclear weapons and nuclear energy. Richard Layard's happiness campaign took the form of a charity that he co-founded in 2010: ACTION FOR HAPPINESS, whose patron was the Buddhist leader, the DALAI LAMA. Other co-founders were the Senior Labour Party adviser and former Buddhist monk, GEOFF MULGAN (co-founder of the think tank DEMOS) and the historian SIR ANTHONY SELDON, the son of the right wing economist ARTHUR SELDON (co-founder of the influential right wing think tank, the IEA). AFH (ACTION FOR HAPPINESS) included on its' board JULIE MELLOR who – like Mulgan – worked at THE YOUNG FOUNDATION and at NESTA. An AFH expert adviser was the aforementioned Daniel Kahneman, and an AFH member was Goldie Hawn (see above). AFH had numerous partners, e.g. the mental health charity MIND. AFH's public launch was hosted by the BBC TV news presenter SIAN WILLIAMS, and followed by a group meditation. Sian Williams recommended meditation and mindfulness in her 2016 book "Rise". Some members of The British Royal Family promoted mental health awareness in 2016 with their HEADS TOGETHER initiative, one of several mental health programmes rolled out by THE ROYAL FOUNDATION, the primary charitable vehicle of Prince William and Prince Harry and their wives (Kate and Megan). Heads Together partners included Richard Branson's bank VIRGIN MONEY; UNILEVER (very big consumer goods company); BLACKROCK (one of the world's largest asset managers); MIND. The British government in 2017 ( the Conservative Party) announced a major plan for more spending (£1.3 billion) on mental health services (e.g. more psychiatrists) supplied predominantly by the NHS. "Opening Up About Mental Health" was the topic discussed on the BBC News Channel programme "Victoria Derbyshire" (News and current affairs show) in 2017 (March 30th). Note the emphasis on 'opening up', which is all part of the Ruling Elite's 'open society' where there are no secrets, except with the Ruling Elite themselves, obviously. Featured in the programme were the Royals' Heads Together campaign and Ruby Wax. Meditation and mindfulness are amongst numerous antidotes to too much thinking, according to the Yale University psychology professor Dr SUSAN NOLEN-HOEKSEMA, considered an expert in the study of women and emotion. Her book "Women Who Think Too Much" (2004) postulated that overthinking can lead to sadness, anxiety and depression. Her award-winning research was funded by major grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Science Foundation, and several private foundations. Nolen-Hoeksema's work on RUMINATION was cited by some researchers who proposed that intuition is impaired by depression. See "Losing Your Gut Feelings. Intuition in Depression" by Carina Remmers and Johannes Michalak. A former Silicon Valley computer scientist – DAVID M. LEVY – wanted the fast paced world (led by computers, the Internet and high technology) to be balanced with the 'slow world' of contemplation (meditation, mindfulness, relaxation, emotional balance), hence his 2016 book "Mindful Tech", endorsed by the New Age physicist ARTHUR ZAJONC, of whom the latter had dialogues with the Buddhist leader, the DALAI LAMA. Zajonc headed several New Age organisations: THE LINDISFARNE ASSOCIATION (President); MIND AND LIFE INSTITUTE (President); the American branch of the ANTHROPOSOPHICAL SOCIETY (General Secretary), whose origins were with the renowned Theosophist RUDOLF STEINER. David Levy worked as a researcher at the Silicon Valley R&D company, PARC (run by XEROX), which made major contributions to IT. The well-known American TV News correspondent and anchor man for ABC NEWS, DAN HARRIS, promoted mindfulness and meditation in his co-written book on the subject: "Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics" (2017). Harris claimed that his interest had been prompted by an on-air panic attack. Harris had a Jewish background but became a Buddhist. "Perception", the American TV series (2012 –2015), revolves around a crime-solving doctor whose schizophrenia aids him in solving mysteries. One of his aids is Natalie Vincent, a hallucination manifested as a result of his schizophrenia, and who also serves as his best friend. Openness and Espionage

Part 2 "Eye Spy Intelligence Magazine" is a British magazine sold for many years in top British magazine retailers (e.g. WH Smith). In 2019 it was available in 36 countries and read by over 100,000 people worldwide. It bills itself as "...the world's only independent publication dedicated to espionage and intelligence". It began just a few months before the 9/11 terrorist strike in 2001. Coincidence? Intriguingly, "Eye Spy" was established by a prominent UFO researcher - MARK BIRDSALL, who co-founded another British magazine that was once commonly available in British newsagents but ceased in 2004: UFO MAGAZINE. "Eye Spy" in 2019 (no. 120, April) contained an article on the targeting of teenage girls by Britain's GCHQ for their educational courses. GCHQ's NATIONAL CYBER SECURITY CENTRE (NCSC) ran courses for all teenagers (CYBERFIRST) that were credit-rated by the SCOTTISH QUALIFICATIONS AUTHORITY. The NCSC ran an online CyberFirst competition for girls in December 2018. Part 3 below.

The symbolism of heads and beheadings

Part 3 GOLGOTHA (aka CALVARY) - the name of the site where Jesus is crucified. The name GOLGOTHA means 'place of the skull' (from GULGOLET (Hebrew = skull)). There is uncertainty on why it is so named, but old Jewish legends suggest that it refers either to the skull of ADAM (God's first man), or to a skull shaped hill at the centre of the Earth where a serpent's head had been crushed/bruised. In one legend, NOAH says that the body of Adam should be buried in the middle of the Earth. Another legend says that when Jesus is being crucified, his blood flows down the cross and into the skull of Adam, so the skull is like the Holy Grail that contains Jesus' blood. The cross equates with the mythical WORLD TREE, which denotes a 'world axis' or central axis around which everything revolves. SKULL AND CROSSBONES - a symbol associated with several religious organisations, e.g. the Freemasons and the Knights Templar. The 2 crossed bones denotes the cross on which Jesus is crucified. ODIN, the Norse God, consults the severed head of the wise giant, MIMIR, as an oracle of wisdom. Previously, Odin had encountered Mimir who guarded a sacred well. Odin wanted a drink from the well, but Mimir agreed only if Odin sacrificed one of his eyes, which he did. ORPHEUS, a hero of ancient Greek mythology, is murdered and dismembered. His severed head floats on water (like Noah's Ark? The Spirit of God?) and ends up on an island. A snake had tried to eat the head, but Apollo turned the snake to stone. Orpheus' head becomes a divine oracle. BRAN – the King of Britain in Welsh legend. Brân is mortally wounded, so requests his companions to cut off his head. He instructs them to take his head with them on their wanderings, telling them that it would not only provide them with entertainment and companionship but would also remain uncorrupted as long as they refrained from opening a certain forbidden door. If that door were opened, they would find themselves back in the real world and would remember all their sorrows. Eventually, they were to take the head and bury it on the White Mount in London. The head was buried in London, where it kept away all invaders from Britain until it was finally unearthed. Part 4 below

    Intuition: friend or foe?

Part 2 MERCEDES-BENZ, the car maker, promoted intuition from 2016 to 2019 (at least) in its’ advertising for some of its’ cars and its’ MBUX multimedia system. The Mercedes E-Class was advertised with the “Intuition” advert that asked: “What is intuition?”, then answered, “To know the unknowable”. Their car was ‘intuitive’ because it could think ahead and avoid danger. The advert climaxed with the words: “Welcome to the era of intuitive driving”. A 2018 TV advert for the Mercedes C-Class said: “Strengthen your intuition”. Their electric car and its’ MBUX multimedia system were advertised with: “The future belongs to electric drive. And human intuition”. JONATHAN HAIDT – regarded as a top thinker in Social Psychology and in happiness research. Haidt promoted meditation and intuition, though he acknowledged that intuition (and the subconscious mind in general) needed to be tamed by logic and reason. Haidt was educated at Yale University. He spent a year at Princeton University as the LAURANCE S. ROCKEFELLER Visiting Professor for distinguished teaching. Haidt gave TED talks and appeared alongside the former British political leader Sir NICK CLEGG (the latter joined FACEBOOK in a senior role) for a discussion on the rise of populism, which they didn’t approve of, naturally. Haidt was publicly a political centrist and anti-Trump, and wanted to reduce political polarisation. Haidt agreed with the philosopher DAVID HUME that reason should be the servant of the passions. Haidt developed the theory of SOCIAL INTUITIONISM, which says that intuition and the unconscious mind is more powerful/influential than the rational mind. He created the metaphor of an elephant (the unconscious mind) being steered by a weak human rider (conscious mind). A former BBC feature writer and science journalist, DAVID ROBSON, wrote in his 2019 book “The Intelligence Trap” that intuition needs to be managed carefully using techniques such as mindfulness and meditation. Anti-Brexit British Media

Part 8 April 8th 2019 - Channel 4 documentary on the problems that have arisen (or might arise) due to the fall in the number of EU workers in Britain: "When the Immigrants Leave: Dispatches", presented by SEYI RHODES, who worked for the BBC and Channel 5, as well as Channel 4. Again, there was the classic trick of more negativity in the first half of the program, with more 'balance' in the 2nd half. The documentary began with a strawberry farmer described by Rhodes as "confused", because the farmer was pro-Brexit despite relying on foreign labour. Then Rhodes went to a nursing home where a pro-Brexit voter said that it would be "...a massive disaster" if the foreign EU workers at the home were forced to leave. Rhodes said that British workers were reluctant to take low paid jobs, though as usual there was little discussion on why those jobs are so lowly paid. Rhodes highlighted that the NHS hadn't benefited from the infamous 350 million pounds a week that had been promised by some in the leave campaign, but Rhodes didn't say that we haven't left yet! Rhodes was told about some of the racist abuse aimed at foreign staff in hospitals and care homes. As mentioned, the 2nd half of the documentary was more balanced: Rhodes said that the reason for the decline in foreign labour had not been exclusively caused by Brexit – there had been a rise in living standards abroad, e.g. in Romania. The strawberry farmer said that he was considering hiring foreign workers from outside the EU, e.g. Russia and Ukraine. Rhodes finished the documentary by saying: "I do understand the point of Brexit – we're supposed to try to reduce our dependency on foreign labour...[but] nobody has a plan to fill that gap" [the gap between replacing foreign labour with British workers]. April 15th 2019 – the anti-Brexit, anti-Trump, BBC comedy actor/panel show host, DAVID MITCHELL, joked that the English county of Kent – traditionally dubbed 'the garden of England' - would become a giant car park because of Brexit. He said so as host of the BBC Radio 4 panel series, "The Unbelievable Truth". Part 9 below

Part 2 RAHU, the demon God in Hindu mythology, is decapitated by VISHNU as punishment for drinking the elixir of immortality. But being immortal, Rahu's head and body chase the sun and moon in revenge, then swallow them, but the sun and moon escape. This swallowing is reminiscent of the Greek god CRONUS who mistakenly swallows a stone (the OMPHALOS stone), believing it to be the God ZEUS. HUMBABA (aka HUWAWA), the monstrous giant in the ancient Mesopotamian legend "The Epic of Gilgamesh", is decapitated by GILGAMESH (in some versions, by ENKIDU, or by both). Humbaba guarded the Gods' abode: THE CEDAR FOREST. Gilgamesh fails in his quest for immortality. "Dr Seuss' The Lorax" (2012) - animated movie. A gold statue is decapitated. The statue of a person has the 'John Travolta' pose, I.e. one arm up, the other down – an occult stance. PEREDUR, of old Welsh legend, travels to the court of King Arthur. Later, he is shown a severed head on a salver and learns that the head belonged to his cousin, who had been killed by the Nine Witches. Part 3 below.
  9. Part one The separation of a head from the rest of its' body symbolises the separation of mind from matter; and the separation of the Rebel from its' karma (The Great Work). MEDUSA, the monstrous GORGON of Greek mythology, is decapitated by the hero PERSEUS. JOHN THE BAPTIST, who baptises Jesus, is beheaded as a punishment by HEROD, who also sentences Jesus to death. STAR WARS – the robot C3PO has his head removed and replaced several times in the Star Wars saga. DJEDI (or DEDI), the magician of ancient Egyptian mythology, can magically reattach the decapitated heads of animals in order to resurrect them. The notion of resurrection denotes the Rebel's 'new order', when the Rebel rebuilds its' body. The 9-headed water serpent of Greek mythology, HYDRA of LERNA, is decapitated by the hero HERACLES (aka HERCULES). In some versions of the story, the Hydra can regenerate its' lost heads. For more on the number 9, see the Number section in the Symbolism section in my website. See below. APOLLO, the Greek God, slays the dragon/serpent (PYTHON) who guards the centre of the Earth (represented by the OMPHALOS stone). In some versions, Apollo beheads Python. In the Gnostic influenced sci-fi novel "VALIS", by PHILIP K. DICK, we are told that THE HEAD APOLLO equates with Jesus, Buddha and Saint Sophia. Also, "The Head Apollo is about to return..." The decapitated head of a statue of Apollo is in two 17th century paintings by the Spanish artist JUSEPE DE RIBERA: "The Martyrdom of Saint Bartholomew" and "The Sense of Touch". THE SIMPSONS – In the opening credits of episodes from 2009 onwards, 2 boys remove the head of the statue of Jebediah Springfield, which falls onto the head of Ralph, who is holding an ice cream cone. Ralph tosses the cone into the statue's eye. For more one eye symbolism, see the One Eye section in my website. See below. SIR GAWAIN, one of the mythical Knights of King Arthur, beheads the GREEN KNIGHT, but only on the condition that the beheaded knight can return the same gesture a year later. "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014) - movie based on the MARVEL COMICS superhero team of the same name. KNOWERE is a remote criminal outpost in space, built inside the giant severed head of a CELESTIAL. The Celestials are powerful cosmic beings who had been created by rebellious cosmic beings. Knowhere floats along THE RIP (the extreme outer edge of all spacetime with no specific physical location). Knowhere acts as a makeshift port of call and observatory of the End of the Universe for intergalactic travellers of all species and from all times. The Celestial's brain facilitates instantaneous transportation to anywhere in the universe. Knowhere is administered by a telepathic dog. In the movie, the protagonists enter Knowhere through the only 'eye' that is seen on screen – a large circular entrance. Intuition: friend or foe?

This continues the thread in the old forum (Consciousness section). You can also see my article in my website in the Mind and Consciousness section: https://thegreatworkdecoded.com The famous American TV chat show host, OPRAH WINFREY, publicly endorsed numerous New Age books and their authors, e.g. ECKHART TOLLE, author of the New Age best seller, “The Power of Now” (1997), which promoted intuition, the subconscious and meditation. The oil company ROYAL DUTCH SHELL and the Silicon Valley research institute, SRI (Stanford Research Institute), both were significant contributors to the discipline of SCENARIO PLANNING, resulting in a methodology called INTUITIVE LOGICS, which includes ‘disciplined intuition’ and brainstorming. In Shell’s 2008 guide to using scenarios (“Scenarios: An Explorer’s Guide”), they say that exploration involves a mix of analytical thinking and “informed intuition”. Part 2 below.

    Anti-Brexit British Media

Part 7 10 days before the new leave date of April 12th 2019, ITV broadcast a Brexit special of "The Martin Lewis Money Show: Live" (April 2nd 2019), presented by money 'expert' Martin Lewis (OBE), a LSE Governor; LSE graduate and BBC employee. Lewis was keen to emphasise that the show would be as impartial as possible. The only bias that I spotted was that the opening 5 minutes or so was all bad news for a 'no deal' Brexit. A basic propaganda tactic is to deliver your main message at the start of a program (or newspaper article), then provide the 'balance' later on, when the audience numbers usually tail off. The first piece of bad news came from an 'independent expert' who said that bananas would go up in price. Next, we were told that the free EHIC card would be removed if a 'no deal' Brexit, though Lewis said that there was uncertainty on what it's replacement would be. Pet travel would involve more difficulties under a 'no deal' Brexit, we were told. The first bit of positivity for a 'no deal' Brexit arrived after approximately 5 or 6 minutes, not from an 'independent expert' but from arch Brexiteer JACOB REES MOGG, and only because he had won the coin toss to decide which politician would get to talk first on Brexit: him or the Remainer. 7 days before the leave date, a challenge to British identity occurred on the Channel 4 program, "Britain's Favourite Takeaway" (April 5th 2019), which reflected the fondness for international cuisine. 5 days before the new leave date, some very predictable bias occurred on Channel 4's satirical panel show "Eight Out Of Ten Cats" (April 7th), which adopted a pro-Europe stance for the program. The panellists were all anti-Brexit, e.g. NISH KUMAR (presenter of BBC2's anti-Brexit satirical series, "The Mash Report"); ROB BECKETT (comedian); KERRY GODLIMAN (comedian); FRED SIRIEIX (French Chef). Part 6 Another BBC2 program on the old, official, leave date was the aforementioned "Frankie Boyle's New World Order", which naturally contained the usual cliched anti-Brexit sentiment (Brexiteers are mostly ignorant, racist savages). The panellists included the ubiquitous feminist comedian, SARA PASCOE. Another challenge to national identity came 6 days after the old leave date, on BBC4, in "A History of Ancient Britain" (Episode 1, April 4th 2019). We were told that Britain had once been part of mainland Europe, and only became an island approximately 8000 years ago. Part 7 below. Part 7 below

    Anti-Brexit British Media

Part 5 On the official leave date (but not anymore), the Channel 4 News Presenter JON SNOW, who has hinted on several occasions that he's anti-Brexit, caused controversy when he commented on a pro-Brexit protest in London: "I have never seen so many white people in one place...", thereby reinforcing the lazy stereotype that Brexiteers are white racists. Snow is the cousin of the ex-BBC "Newsnight" presenter, PETER SNOW. Also on the old, official, leave date, ITV aired a Brexit documentary that wasn't obviously anti-Brexit, but there were clues, in my opinion. "Brexit: The Endgame" belonged to ITV's "Tonight" series. It was introduced by JULIE ETCHINGHAM, who said: "Tonight, the UK in crisis." Immediately after, an anti-Brexit woman said: "This is not wartime; none of this is compulsory; we're doing these things that seem so insane." She was actually talking about herself and her husband's actions (stockpiling lots of food), but that only became apparent later on in the program. Also in the introduction, a sheep farmer said of a 'no deal' Brexit: "The only thing the House of Commons and Europe agree on: that 'no deal' would be terrible, and we might land up with it. What sort of democracy is that?". Then came the main report by Cambridge educated ALLEGRA STRATTON, previously the sidekick to ROBERT PESTON on ITV's "Peston on Sunday". Stratton began her report by saying: "We're a country in crisis". She said that most UK businesses don't want a 'no deal' agreement. Stratton interviewed Brexiteer NIGEL FARAGE, who got a little annoyed about her making the cliched claim that 'no deal' might lead to large job losses and extreme business turbulence. Stratton countered: "But it's not just scaremongering...", then gave an example of a British company that had relocated jobs to Europe. More Brexit negativity came from the aforementioned sheep farmer who was interviewed on his farm during lambing, so there were images of cute lambs baaing. A cute lamb was shown when Stratton uttered the word "slaughtered", when saying that a 'no deal' Brexit could result in millions of lambs not being sold, "...and needlessly slaughtered". Stratton worked on BBC2's "Newsnight" (Political Editor); ITV News (National Editor); wrote for mostly centre left newspapers/magazines (e.g. "The Guardian"). Part 6 below.

    The symbolism of freezing

The illusory slowing down of time to a near standstill (part of the Great Work) is a kind of freezing. MEDUSA – in ancient Greek legend, Medusa is a female monster who turns people to stone if they gaze at her face. Her head is covered in snakes in place of hair. The "Big" (the movie starring Tom Hanks) begins with a young boy called Josh who is playing a computer game. His game character is in the ice cavern of an evil wizard. He wants to melt the wizard but the wizard freezes him in a cube of ice. Is this an occult reference to our world that is 'frozen in time'? Evil characters in mythology/religion are sometimes portrayed as living in a frozen state, e.g. Satan is buried in ice up to his chest. Josh is told by the game that, with luck, he will thaw in several million years: maybe a reference to Satan escaping from the pit (that imprisons him) after a 1000 years. In the film "Big" the frozen realm in the computer game might refer to the frozen North. 'The North' crops up in numerous legends/myths. The Canaanite God EL lives on a remote mountain in the North. The frozen North Pole is on an axis that connects the frozen South pole. An axis is a static pivot around which something rotates. In the Bible, Heaven is Northward (salvation from the North). Lucifer is accused of wanting to ascend to heaven and to "...sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the North..." ("Isaiah 14:12) The Canaanite storm god BAAL manifests as BAAL-ZEPHON (Lord of the North). ZEPHON/ ZAPHON = NORTH in Hebrew. Baal-Zephon is also the name of the place where the Bibilical Israelites cross the Red sea parted by Moses. "Zaphon" (Hebrew) is similar to the noun SAPON (Hebrew= North), derived from the verb SAPAN (Hebrew= to hide). The word SAPAN sounds like "SATAN". Lucifer performs a hiding function, because he is told "you were the anointed cherub who covers...You were the seal of perfection". The 'North' covers as well, as God "stretcheth the North over the empty place." The Mercy seat covers the Ark of the Covenant, which contains the 10 Commandments. The Mercy seat equates with Jesus because they both cover for sins. Hence Jesus = Lucifer. Both are light-bringers. Jerusalem is Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the Great King. The word NORTH derives from the Proto-Indo-European word NER = left, below. The left-hand path? Geographical North is to the left when facing the rising sun. The rising sun is Atum's mound rising from the primordial waters. NARAKAH (sanskrit= hell). Hell is below and hidden. Etymology: TUATH (old irish= left, northern); DEATH; THOTH (Egyptian god); DUAT (Egyptian abode of the dead). The symbolism of Satan up to his waist in ice comes from Dante Alighieri's 14th century Christian tale "The Divine Comedy". There are earlier references to ice, snow and hail in religious texts, e.g. a Norse creation myth begins with the 2 opposite lands of fire and ice. In the Bible (Job 37), the Breath of God creates frost/ice. In some passages hail rains down. Some Buddhist texts describe Hell as cold in parts. The 3rd century "NT" Apocrypha "Apocalypse of Paul" says that Hell has rivers of ice and fire. "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen features the symbolism of a cold world and cold hearts, caused by a mirror that falls to Earth and shatters into many pieces. The goal of alchemy is to produce gold, which isn't as cold as ice, but the word "gold" does sound like "cold". Gold is immutable, a bit like the Rebel/false God. STAR WARS – in Part V ("The Empire Strikes Back") one of the villains wants to freeze someone temporarily so that they can't fight back. THE SIMPSONS - "Treehouse of Horror XXII" - Homer is paralyzed. STAR TREK – In the original series, KHAN is one of a group of genetically engineered superhumans who are discovered in suspended animation. See Star Trek episode "Space Seed" (ep23, series 1). "The Thing" (1982) - sci-fi horror film directed by JOHN CARPENTER, about a parasitic alien discovered frozen underground in the frozen continent of Antartica. The film was based on the sci-fi novella "Who Goes There?" (1938), by the legendary JOHN W. CAMPBELL, editor of "Astounding Science Fiction". "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) - Sci-fi novel and film classic by ARTHUR C. CLARKE in which astronauts travel to another planet in suspended animation (hibernation). "Alien" (1979) - sci-fi thriller about a tough alien investigated by a space travelling crew who are awoken from suspended animation. "Alien" was written by 2 writers who also co-wrote the screenplay for "Total Recall" (1990), namely DAN O'BANNON and RONALD SHUSETT. O'Bannon collaborated with film director JOHN CARPENTER in writing the sci-fi film "Dark Star" (1974), in which one of the astronauts is in cryogenic suspension. RED DWARF – sci-fi comedy series revolving around the character DAVE LISTER who in the first episode is in suspended animation (stasis). The comedy's writers – ROB GRANT and DOUG NAYLOR – both wrote for the satirical TV series "Spitting Image". FROZEN (2013) - Walt Disney animation inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen". The central character, ELSA, has the magical ability to create/control ice and snow. Elsa falls out with her sister (a red head. The Devil is associated with the colour red), so blocks her out. Later, Elsa flees to the NORTH MOUNTAIN, where she builds a palace of ice in which to live a hermit life. She sings the song "Let it Go", singing "Turn my back and slam the door...A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I’m the queen." She also says: "No right, no wrong; no rules for me, I'm free!...I'm never going back, the past is in the past...My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around." The song "Let it Go" was co-written by ROBERT LOPEZ, a Yale University graduate who co-created the controversial stage musical "The Book of Mormon" with the creators of "South Park".
