The Brainwashing and peer group shaming is strong

Recommended Posts

It amazes me how many people still believe the official version of everything and repeat it verbatim.

One wonders if it is largely due to an education system that removes any ability for one to actually think for one's self.

Too often I hear, "but the BBC said, the government said, but it's a government study" .

Same with Brexit; the same people who were big supporters of our membership of the ERM are the same ones they role out to tell us we should join the Euro and remain in the EU.

Totally agree! The education system does not educate in any meaningful sense. This why we have been trying our best to educate the young people who come to us through the WWOOF network www.newmoonfarm.ie. If we don't get young people up to speed with skills and the ability to think for themselves, we are lost, beause they are the future!

The education system lol more like a system for indoctrination. Its not just the education system, society is self governing. Your parents went through the same system, they then bombard you with the same crap along with the education system. Then on top of that you have the media and TV. All angles covered......

I think it was Orwell who said political correctness is the most dangerous form of censorship.

The shaming is used to emasculate men as evidenced by the Gillette advert.

A society of weak, spineless men with no ability to think for themselves is exactly what they want and they have just about achieved it.

Of course how many times was it drummed into you when young; don't discuss religion or politics.

The whole education system needs a huge overhaul.

Everything else, literally everything else has changed in the last 100 years. Medicine, first aid, technology, laws, health and safety, food, exercise, the English language has even changed but we are still dissecting animals in Biology class and learning the Periodic table. These things should be specialist subjects that you choose to take at 6th form level or maybe in year 9 you choose to take them if you want to learn the sciences.

It's just such a mess.

Most people allow themselves to be less than is attainable. They prefer not to question nor to consider. An individual can be highly intelligent but the mass is always imbecilic and simply lead!

People are programmed to believe there is no other choice.

Disagree :)

Most do not even have a choice, they are NPC or background noise.

The herd stampede from one issue to the next, led by the nose, by the msm and social media never reaching any realisation of the true cause of their misery.

The 'real' crypto currency is information and most are skint.

Yeah, but he also said this:

“There happen to be a lot of people around who spend an hour on the internet and think they know a lot about physics, but it doesn’t work like that,” he added, taking a jab at conspiracy theorists. “There’s a reason there are graduate schools in these departments.”

“There is just overwhelming evidence that the Bush administration wasn’t involved,” he said. “Very elementary evidence. You don’t have to be a physicist to understand it. You just have to think for a minute.”

Everything is geared towards convincing them their misery is caused by  lack of money and not being able to afford enough stuff.

Being poor and worrying all the time is not fun but does buying a £50,000 car make you feel any happier and more content in life - maybe for about 24 -48 hours.

Indeed. Who funds the medical schools and the university research departments, where does the money given to cancer research actually go-etc,etc

Ever looked into the report the economics professors were writing for the banks?

Too many people just blindly believe it because a celebrity expert or scientist said it.

I agree to some extent. I've met many people in the past with higher education and degrees who lacked common sense and were perfect for assimilating data. BUT, I have also come across far more who were incredibly smart and intuitive who were able to use their education across multiple fields. I think it very naïve and generalising in the extreme to label higher education as something that is not effective.

Maybe run of the mill education for children could be a whole lot more expanded, but then we get into theological discussions that would be very difficult to implement.

My view about education takes a far more damning view on social media, youtube and other sources of so called information. There's a famous quote I would refer you to:

Says Winston Churchill said, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."

That is so very true. I don't think most people even bother to go and self debunk any fake news or claim they hear. You can apply that to both mainstream reporting or alternative views.

They don't, they just repeat what the BBC tells them and what the system approved scientists says.

"Man made climate change" being a classic example.

In my day higher education involved thinking to some extent but of course if your thinking was not 100% congruent with the professors -you aint getting a good grade for your dissertation.

The very nature of most dissertations was that the conclusion was open to different analysis according to books read etc.

So people reach conclusions they know they disagree with because they knew they needed a 2.1 or first to have any chance of getting on a the graduate scheme at a big company.

And that is one way the indoctrination works.

From the moment one is born it is all about conformance.

Look into how economics is taught in"good" universities around the world - trust me it's skewed.

I think you are really overcooking the "brainwashing" aspect of education. To a large extent there has to be conformity to what is being taught. But to suggest that those not taught the subject know better is a fairly absurd suggestion. Once the person leaves the education system, we then have the further suggestion that to stay in the work environment they must maintain this conformity. That may apply to an extent in some branches of human activity, such as recorded history, economics etc. but you simply cannot pigeon hole everyone into the comply and conform basket. It simply is not true.

and to think that does not apply to scientific organisations and indeed all human activity shows a naivety that is staggering.

Which is why no one said that.

It applies at social levels but it most certainly does not apply at research and development or theory creation.

Or alternatively you could look at the source for most of it, social media and determine how pervasive these places are for propagating false rumours, fake news and lies.

Yes,like this Flat Earth crap,or this moon hoax crap.

Why do you actively support it by shutting down dissenting voices,

removing posts you don't like, while those idiots continue dragging

down the level of this forum, and hindering true conspiracy research...
