Why do sovereign world powers and secret organizations hate Turks?

Erdogan is not a good guy at all. He is definitely backed by certain elements of the deep state.

But I believe the coup against him was real, plotted out by the Gulen faction which is backed by some elements of the CIA.

the FBI set up people as terrorists all the time....all the time

why couldn't the CIA foment trouble in turkey that would then allow the government to clamp down on dissenters?

This approach is called a 'strategy of tension' and it has been a policy of the CIA's Operation Gladio since the second world war

Gladio cells would carry out terror attacks that would be blamed on 'the left' so that western governments could then justify passing more draconian laws that robbed people of their rights and freedoms and allowed the state to gain more control over its domestic populations

The process is ongoing...the bogeyman these days is not so much 'communism' as 'islamic extremism' but now it appears to be morphing into 'right wing extremism' but always the end result will be the same: the state removing peoples rights and freedoms and greater and greater controls on the population

that wasn't a 'coup' it was a joke!

i've seen more convincing coups launched on this forum...

what it did was precipitate a clamp down by erdogan on his opponents

I´m with Muir on this one.

Lots of holes in the story.

Since when did an army surrender to unarmed civilians within a matter of a few hours?

Staged photo imo

This must be the favorite leftwingers conspiracy theory of all times. I've seen this story around the net for decades. I've never found any evidence. And no one was ever arrested for that train station bombing, or those supermarket massacres, no one claimed it, it's just a mystery, and a whole lot of rumors, and conspiracy theories. I think VT brings it up allot too

I did a job in Istanbul Turkey a few years ago. I really enjoyed my stay in Istanbul. Hardly any police or military presence at all. Nice restaurants and bars, Very relaxed atmosphere

I had to do a 2nd job 40 clicks more east, this was a different story. At checkin at the hotel we were told, strictly no alcohol. And when we went for a walk around the area we saw why, this was the Caliphate, very different from Istanbul city

Yes .... unhelpful :)

Would you please name the "favorite left wingers conspiracy" which you consider has been around for decades and has no evidence?

I did, twice, and I don't appreciate your tone, or your line of questioning.

But I'll humor you, "Operation Gladio" and the "Strategy of fear" are conspiracy theories only ever brought up by leftwingers to blame the worlds problems on their usual assortment of scapegoats, rightwingers, fascists, etc. While there's is zero evidence of the existence of any of it. And the terror attacks associated with this theory are the train station bombing of Bologna and a series of supermarket massacres in Belgium which have never been solved, no one was caught, no one claimed these attacks.

only a living entity can be sovereign

a body in which independent and supreme power is vested

a nation or a government cannot claim to have independent power as it is corporation comprising of multiple influences

Ok, I'll translate it in your language. A people can be sovereign, a people are a nation. You get me now?

You can interchange nation for tribe, or clan or whatever you feel comfortable with

using people as a plural would follow:  a people can be sovereigns

people grant limited power to a corporation to perform a limited function

a corporation cannot in any sense be sovereign as it is not independent , it is subject to people that empower it.

a corporation, tribe, council, the world requires the mandate of people to exist

a supreme power cannot be subject to anyone, the world /tribe/council/nation is subject to the people

of course the goal of socialism and communism is to convince people to forgo their sovereignty and give their consent to being subject to the corporation they mandated

however history shows how that kind of governance is smashed by people who refuse to be subject to the man made machine

Mary Shelley wrote a book about it. the monster

No, a people can be one, as in a tribe, a clan, or a nation. So the word is sovereign not sovereigns

People were forming tribes, clans, or nations long before any room of commerce registered the first corporation

A clan, tribe or nation is a group of people bonded together by blood, language, traditions, and culture. To preserve these traits they need to be a sovereign tribe, clan, or nation, with borders, and men to defend these borders against intruders

Language is a set of words and definitions agreed up on. You can make your own language but you'll be alone outside the sovereign nation lol

the sovereign's nation (the UK ) or the nation for sovereigns (the US)

i think an area in Cornwall still speaks the old tongue, the last remaining local language. At the UK the sovereign's language has dominated and people forgot to use their old tongue

people in private still play with language because people are able to think-on-their-feet, make decisions by themself.#

here are two examples of people playing with language , they are not owned by the language. it is their tool. they break conventions and rules to portray their individual meaning

Jihadi John & SITE intelligence are perfect example recently, excuse to ethnic cleanse Sunni areas in Iraq & air strikes in Syria.

Soon as they got the go ahead after Foley etc all the Western kidnapping stopped.

Anywhere you need to invade, ethnic cleanse or lock down out comes Jihadi John & the 9ft tall Jihadi headhunters.

Brought to you by Rita Katz the next day on CNN.
