I have supported brexit as i see the EU as an elite run fascistic project but i do have concerns about what the elites will do to try and turn the brexit situation to their advantage

For example they could claim we have brexited while effectively keeping us tied to the EU or they could pursue another agenda altogether. The big danger on the horizon is the growing chinese empire which is really been created by the western neoliberal cartelist corporate cabal which we call the sabbateans and which was also behind the bolsheviks and the rise of the nazi war machine as well as the election of FDR to president in the USA

Prod Sutton labels this cabal 'wall street' and he calls them 'corporate socialists' because what they do is use government to enable them to create corporate monopolies ie cartels while they squeeze everyone else out of business

Those are the same forces behind the EU but they are also the same forces behind the rise of technocratic china and they control the big tech companies that are building the infrastructure behind the technocracy ie the smart grid, the internet of things, the facial recognition, the digital currencies, the autonomous vehicles, the drones the darpa robots etc

So the danger after brexit is that the tories will take us into chinas one-belt-one-road scheme which is pursuing the old spice route across from china to the levant and britain could be positioned as the western most node on that empire. This could explain the willingness of the tory government to embrace the huawei 5G technology which the US is rejecting for having backdoors in it. Effectively the freemasonic establishment of britain is rolling out the 5G smart grid control system and it i using the chinese technocracys tech to do this which itself has really come from what the left would call the neoliberal corporations in the west or what we would call the sabbateans or the rothschild cabal

So that is my big concern with brexit: that we will be sucked into the chinese technocratic empire:

US officials brand possible Huawei 5G rollout in UK ‘act of madness’ as MI5 plays down US fear-mongering

14 Jan, 2020 02:43 / Updated 4 hours ago
In a bid to pressure the UK into barring Huawei from Britain’s 5G rollout, US officials reportedly went as far as to imply that allowing it on the market would be “madness.” The fears were dampened by the UK spy chief, however.

The US has upped the rhetorical ante on its largely unfounded claims that Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei will severely compromise a country’s cyber security if it is allowed to work on any of the world’s burgeoning national 5G networks.

A team of high-ranking US officials, including those from the National Security Agency (NSA), were set to present supposedly damning evidence to the UK government on Monday, arguing the equipment supplied by the Chinese company may come with hidden ‘backdoors’ granting Beijing access to critical British infrastructure.

In the wake of the meeting with the British ministers, the Guardian’s Dan Sabbagh quoted US officials as saying that using Huawei technology for 5G in the UK would be “an act of madness.” It’s unclear exactly what proof the US officials presented to their British colleagues, as several major US allies, such as Germany and India, have so far found no compelling reason to ban Huawei from their own 5G networks.

Washington has long tried to persuade London into shunning the Chinese tech giant. In December, US National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien argued that once Huawei is given a green light in the UK, Beijing would “steal wholesale state secrets, whether they are the UK’s nuclear secrets or secrets from MI6 or MI5.”

Such an ominous prediction apparently did not strike a chord with the British intelligence community itself, however, with head of MI5 Andrew Parker telling the Financial Times in a recent interview that he had “no reason to think” the intelligence sharing agreement between the UK and the US would be in any danger if the British government refused to shut the door on Huawei.

The Labour Partly

By Gilad Atzmon, 9 hours ago

Historically, a popular coup against an opposition party is rare.  In the last General Election Corbyn’s Labour provided us with just such an exceptional spectacle.

Labour managed to alienate its voters. Its leader turned his back on its strongest allies including, among others,  Ken Livingstone and Chris Williamson. For some reason Corbyn’s Labour turned itself into an Orwellian authoritarian apparatus; it even dug into its members’ social media accounts picking out ‘dirt’ (human right’s concerns) in order to appease one distinctive foreign lobby.

The Brits saw it all, how dangerous the party became. Many former ardent Labour supporters angrily rejected their political home. They may never return.

The conduct of the contenders for Labour’s leadership in the last few days reveals that the Brits were spot on in humiliating their opposition party.

At the moment, Labour’s leadership candidates are, without exception, competing amongst themselves to see who goes the lowest in pledging allegiance to a Lobby associated with a foreign state that is currently under investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC)  for committing crimes against humanity.

— Richie Allen @RichieAllenShow Jan 14th 2020

Leadership contender Emily Thornberry is apparently on her “hands and knees…asking  for forgiveness.” And she is not the only one. The Zionist Times of Israel’s headlines yesterday revealed that the top candidates for Labour leadership have all vowed to lead the fight against anti-Semitism. “Keir Starmer backs automatic expulsion for offenders; Rebecca Long-Bailey: Corbyn bears personal responsibility for crisis; Jess Phillips suspends aide over anti-Semitic tweets.”

On BBC Radio, front runner Keir Starmer said, “We should have done more on anti-Semitism.”  I wonder, what did Starmer mean by that? What is the next step after thought policing and spying on party members? Re-education centres? Indoctrination facilities?  Hypnosis or maybe physiological treatment or perhaps lobotomy for those who dare to tell the truth about Israel and its Lobby?

Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday reported that leadership contender, Jess Phillips, had on Friday suspended an aide who equated the Jewish State with the Islamic one.

Two days ago we learned that Zionist pressure on the Labour party isn’t fading away. The Board of Deputies of British Jews (BOD) published its demands of the candidates for Labour’s leadership.  The ultra Zionist Jewish Chronicle wrote “The Board of Deputies has demanded each of Labour’s candidates for leader and deputy leader sign up to its 10 ‘pledges’ in order to ‘begin healing its relationship with the Jewish community’…”

Predictably, the demands made by the BOD do not accord with Western and Christian values of pluralism and tolerance. The BOD demands that contenders ‘pledge’ to  “prevent re-admittance of prominent offenders.” One may wonder what about forgiveness and compassion, are those fundamental Western values foreign to our Labour leadership candidates?

The BOD insists that leadership contenders pledge to “provide no platform for those who have been suspended or expelled for antisemitism.” What about freedom of speech and free debate? Are those also alien to Labour’s future leaders?

The new Labour leader is expected to support the bizarre idea that the Zionist Jewish Labour Movement will grant the kosher certificate for its “anti racism education program.” I thought to myself that if the Jewish Labour Movement is so good in ‘anti racism education,’ maybe, and before anything else, it should contribute towards the cleansing of racism in Israel.

The fact that a Jewish organisation such as the BOD is so bold as to publish such ludicrous demands from a British national party is no surprise. The bizarre development here is that Labour’s  leadership candidates are engaged in an undignified battle to gain the BOD’s support.

I am not critical of the Jewish Lobby and its orbit of Zionist pressure groups. Those bodies clearly accomplished their mission.  But it is astonishing how dysfunctional the Labour party and its leadership are. The party can’t even draw the most elementary lesson from its recent electoral disaster.

Those who follow my work know that I have predicted the unfortunate downfall of Labour and the demise of the Left in general. The Left, as I have been arguing for a while, has failed to reinstate its relevance and authenticity. It is unfortunately dead in the water.

can't you see who really controls the labour party? can you see it yet?

Labour’s fake anti-Semitism crisis outlives Corbyn

Asa Winstanley Lobby Watch 16 January 2020

Candidates for the leadership of the UK’s Labour Party have capitulated to new demands from the Israel lobby.

The Board of Deputies of British Jews is insisting that whoever replaces Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader in April should effectively institute purges of the party membership.

So the fabricated “anti-Semitism crisis” in Britain’s main opposition party rages on, despite Corbyn’s defeat last month – which other Israel lobbyists have now claimed responsibility for.

The Board of Deputies on Sunday issued 10 “pledges” – or “demands” as The Jewish Chronicle reported – “to end the anti-Semitism crisis.”

In what was clearly a coordinated action, all five candidates who have received sufficient nominations to be on the ballot paper in the leadership contest instantly agreed to the Board’s demands.

These included the supposedly left-wing shadow minister Rebecca Long-Bailey. She commands the most support among Labour members, according to one opinion poll, with Keir Starmer, the party’s main spokesperson on Brexit, in second position.

The group Labour Against the Witch Hunt has condemned the demands, calling on candidates to reject them.

Long-Bailey posted a fawning blog post on The Times of Israel website acceding to all the Board of Deputies’ demands.

In a sign of how the witch hunt has becoming increasingly McCarthyite, she committed to expelling Labour members supposedly guilty of “diminishing the problem of anti-Semitism.”

Her blog post was promoted online by her campaign manager Jon Lansman – who has been part of the witch hunt for some time now.

“It is never OK to respond to allegations of racism by being defensive.... The only acceptable response to any accusation of racist prejudice is self-scrutiny, self-criticism and self-improvement” Well said Rebecca, writing on antisemitism in Jewish News https://t.co/ct2YKPw6Sn

— Jon Lansman (@jonlansman) January 12, 2020

Emily Thornberry, another shadow minister now running to be leader, published an even more disgusting blog post on The Times of Israel.

Thornberry gives the game away by openly stating that the so-called crisis is really all about defending Israel. She reveals that she launched a “battle” against Corbyn’s advisers over the 2019 manifesto’s Palestine policy – which included a commitment to an arms embargo against Israel for the first time.

The Board of Deputies is an organization that spends most of its time lobbying for Israel, but is also a Jewish communal body.

In its list of 10 demands, it said that Labour members who “support, campaign or provide a platform” to anyone disciplined by the party for alleged anti-Semitism “should themselves be suspended.”

Another of the stipulations would give “Jewish representative bodies” – presumably including the Board itself – an effective veto over Labour’s disciplinary processes, including the handling of confidential data.

The Board is also demanding that the Jewish Labour Movement be put in charge of “anti-racism education” and run the party’s anti-Semitism training.

The Jewish Labour Movement is an openly Zionist organisation with intimate ties to the Israeli embassy in London. It has been at the forefront of the manufactured “Labour anti-Semitism” campaign against Corbyn over the last four and a half years.

The Board also calls for Labour to endorse the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance “working definition” of anti-Semitism “without qualification.” That controversial document has not been drawn up as a tool to fight genuine anti-Semitism; most of the “examples” cited by it concern Israel.

Among other stipulations, the document prohibits denying “the Jewish people their right to self-determination” by criticizing Israel as “a racist endeavor.” This potentially forbids Labour members from advocating for a unitary democratic state for everyone in historic Palestine.

In 2018, despite opposition by Palestinian, Black and other ethnic minority groups, and despite wide grassroots opposition, Labour fully endorsed the controversial document.

But Corbyn unsuccessfully attempted to append a qualifying statement to the document before it formally became party policy. Corbyn had sought to give Labour activists the freedom to describe Israeli policies as racist.

‘Beyond belief!’: Labour leadership hopeful enrages Scots after using Catalonia as example of how to ‘beat divisive nationalism’

16 Jan, 2020 11:55 / Updated 21 hours ago
Labour leadership hopeful Lisa Nandy has incensed Scots after citing Catalonia, where Catalans have faced severe police brutality in their quest for independence, as an example of how to beat “narrow and divisive nationalism.”

In an interview with the BBC’s Andrew Neil on Wednesday night, Nandy was asked to expand on her proposals to set up an international commission that will look for historical examples of “how nationalism has been beaten by social justice.”

The leadership contender argued that Britain should be learning lessons from other countries around the world on how to defeat nationalism, using Spain’s handling of Catalan independence protests as a beacon for social justice advocates, like her.

…in places like Catalonia and Quebec we have been able to beat narrow and divisive nationalism with a social justice agenda.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Nandy’s views really haven’t gone down well among Scottish people on social media. The idea that it’s perfectly reasonable to use Catalonia, where politicians and demonstrators were locked up and police violence was dished out, as an example of how to deal with Scottish nationalism has prompted an avalanche of angry responses.

One person tweeted: “To use the example of the Madrid based brutality towards the Catalonia’s [sic], is beyond belief !!!” While another suggested that if fellow Labour leadership contender Rebecca Long-Bailey, a Corbynite, had used Venezuela as an “example to follow” the media would have crucified her, however, they treat Nandy’s views in suggesting the UK “replicate Spain’s extremism” as “uncontroversial.”

Other Scots posted images of bloodied Catalan protesters and baton-wielding Spanish police threatening citizens to show their disgust at Nandy’s inflammatory comments.

Please explain how 2% of the population can demand and dictate what the other 98% can and must do, say, or think, I'd love to know, please explain.
If Labour adopts the "Ten Pledges to end the antisemitism crisis", no critic of Israel will be permitted to be a member. NO criticism of Israel will be allowed. The party will be taken over by a fifth column of a foreign power which is overtly hostile to free speech and democracy in Britain. It will represent a complete Coup by the Lobby - that is to say - criminal foreign interference in British Democracy. It will not be worth voting, if they do, the Liberals are in bed with the damned jews and most certainly the Conservatives, sell out, the lot of them, if they agree to the pandering of these damned people!!
For Shame

Point 8 is an undisguised attack on JVL. Point 6 invites the suspension and expulsion of anyone who supports the Palestinians, including with BDS. Point 5 is the most insidious McCarthyite measure of all: anyone or any CLP who tries to defend someone who has been suspended for alleged anti Semitism, no matter how unjustly, will themselves be suspended. So as soon as JLM accuse someone, no one may speak up in their defence! Point 3 gives JLM full access to confidential information about anyone accused. Point 2 hands an ‘independent body’ (whoever that may be) full control over the Party’s internal disciplinary process, over who will be expelled from the Party. We should be under no illusion about how dangerous this is for the left, and indeed for the Labour Party. This is where appeasement leads. The very organisations who declared that Jeremy Corbyn was ‘unfit to be prime minister’, who thereby undermined our election campaign and directly facilitated the Johnson victory, now get to control our disciplinary process. It doesn’t get much worse than this.

The rothschild cabal are a group of intermarried families who are themselves part of the wider sabbatean frankist network which is a messianic, lurianic kabbalist cult seeking world domination

They are working together to take control of the worlds resources and corporations and through blackmail, lobbying, threats, bribery, political assassination or getting their own people into gatekeeper positions they are able to capture governments including our own. They hide themselves behind the main abrahamic religions and also operate through freemasonry and by doing so will always seek to silence opponents by accusing them of 'anti-semitism'

Richest 1% owns more than TWICE as much wealth as 6.9 billion people – Oxfam

20 Jan, 2020 02:59 / Updated 3 hours ago
A super-rich one percent of the world’s population has accumulated twice as much wealth as the remaining 90 percent, global charity Oxfam said in a newly-released report.

The gap between the obscenely rich and the rest of humanity has reached grotesque proportions, according to the annual report by Oxfam, published on Monday on the eve of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The new report, ‘Time to Care’, which focuses on the largely unpaid care work many women and girls take upon themselves, says that the world’s top 22 richest men now have more wealth than all the women in Africa.

There are only 2,153 billionaires in the world, according to the report, but their wealth matches that of more than 4.6 billion people, or about 62 percent of the world’s population, estimated to stand at 7.7 billion. The gap between the wealthy and those less well off looks even wider when comparing the combined income of the richest of the rich – the top one percent – to that of 6.9 billion people. According to the report, the one-percenters boast more than twice as much wealth as nearly 90 percent of the global population.

The charity, which has consistently argued that the only way to tackle inequality is to raise taxes, said that taxing an additional 0.5 percent of wealth of the top one percent over the next decade will provide governments with enough funds to create 117 million jobs in health, education, elderly care, and other sectors.

For the 0.5% not the 99.5%

By Gilad Atzmon, 3 hours ago

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results, then the British Labour Party is institutionally insane and beyond recovery.

Labour’s  leadership candidates didn’t learn a thing from their Party’s humiliating electoral defeat last month. Instead of returning to universal anti racist politics consistent with so-called ‘Labour values,’ the compromised contenders for party leadership bow to the demands made by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, a self-elected pressure group that claims to represent 0.5% of the British public.  Our Labour leadership candidates have attended to whims uttered by a tiny privileged voice while ignoring at least 99.5% of the British public. ‘For the very few and no one else,’ falls short of describing this political suicide.

This weekend, Labour's first leadership hustings in Liverpool provided another spectacular display of the candidates’ spineless and unprincipled behaviour. Each waited his or her turn to utter embarrassing statements that they hoped would appease their party’s bitterest enemy.

During the event, leadership candidate Jess Phillips took a furious swipe at her rivals' ‘alleged silence over anti-Semitism.’ She claimed that Labour‘s failure on antisemitism had lost the party its “moral high ground” in the battle against racism. She referred in her comments to Rebecca Long-Bailey, Emily Thornberry and Sir Keir Starmer, who had all been part of Corbyn’s team.

Emily Thornberry, who just a week ago was on “her hands and knees” asking for Jewish “forgiveness,”  hit back at the accusations, saying she has always been clear that antisemitism “undermines us as a party.” Vowing to kick out so-called ‘antisemites,’ she said: “What the Israeli government is doing at the moment is completely unacceptable. But that is not the fault of the Jews.”

Someone should remind the ‘kneeling enthusiast’ that in his entire career, Corbyn never  criticised Jews, Judaism or Jewishness.  He did criticise Israel and Zionism, while making a clear distinction between Jews and Zionism. It is this critique of Israel and its politics that made Corbyn and the party ‘antisemitic’ in the eyes of the Zionist pressure groups. If Thornberry insists on getting on her hands and knees to ask for pardon, she ought to understand the ‘fault’ that has been attached to her party, otherwise, her conduct fits too well with the definition of insanity.

Frontrunner Sir Keir Starmer, candidate  Rebecca Long-Bailey and candidate Lisa Nandy all repeated the same line. Each vowed to repair Labour’s relationships with British Jews. There is nothing inherently wrong with altering the Party’s appeal to Jews but the leadership candidates must have failed to notice that Corbyn wasted his political energy as a Party leader trying to do just that.

In the early stages of his leadership, Corbyn’s  popularity was the result of the false perception that he was an ideologically principled leader. It was Corbyn’s anti war stand, opposition to Anglo-American imperialism and Zionism that so many liked. As time passed, it became clear that Corbyn, the person, had little or nothing in common with his revolutionary image. The man zigzagged around every possible topic including antisemitism and Zionism, let alone Brexit. The man who at one stage was perceived as a ‘Left Icon’ publicly transformed into a caricature of a political ‘left over.’ Corbyn lost the election because he was unfit to dwell in Number 10. The Brits realised that if Corbyn couldn’t handle a tiny foreign lobby, he would struggle to deal with Putin.

But there was a lesson entangled in Corbyn’s political demise.  When Corbyn showed a bit of  willingness to resist the Lobby’s pressure, his public support grew dramatically.  Two weeks before the election, while being interviewed by BBC’s Andrew Neil, Corbyn refused to apologise to the Jewish community. He took a firm stand and upheld a universal anti racist approach to discrimination.  The spike in the polls was immediate.  In some of the polls Labour halved the gap with the Tories. At the time, I was skeptical about Corbyn’s bravery.  I thought his reaction was likely accidental. Perhaps he wasn’t prepared for the question and forgot to crawl on demand. It only took a few days before Corbyn and his shadow chancellor  reverted to their usual apologetic take on the matter: the rest is history. Corbyn’s Labour suffered its worst electoral defeat in 84 years.

Jeremy Corbyn interviewed by BBC’s Andrew Neil

This week we learned that Labour’s leadership candidates haven’t learned a thing.  ‘Insanely’ they repeated Corbyn’s mistakes maybe expecting different results. Instead of producing a firm position consistent with their Party’s universal ideology, they competed to appease the whims and demands  of one hostile foreign lobby

As in every tragic story, there was a glimpse of hope: MP Diane Abbott reported in a tweet from the Liverpool hustings that “Richard Burgon gets the most applause of anyone at the Liverpool deputy leadership hustings for his thoughtful response on the anti-semitism issue.”

Watching Deputy leader candidate Richard Burgon comments reveals that his seemingly  firm stand against the ‘antisemitism blitz,’ did indeed receive  warm applause from the Labour party members in the room.

Watch Richard Burgon’s attempt at reason:

However, a careful listen to Burgon’s position clarifies that his stand on the issue is even more ridiculous than that of the other candidates. Burgon refuses to sign the BOD’s demands because he wants to work with the BOD as well as ‘all other Jewish organisations.” Burgon was referring particularly to the “minority within the minority, whether it would be LGBT Jewish people or Black Jewish people…”

The party that claimed to act for ‘the many not the few’ is now concerned with 5% (considered the demographics of sexual orientation and gender identity within western society) of the 0.5% of the entire British population. In mathematical terms,  Burgon rejects the BOD’s demands because he is concerned with a population that comprises 0.000025 of the country’s entire population. I haven’t  bothered to look at the percentage of Black Jews in Britain as there is no indication that such a community exists or is at all organized in Britain. And if it does exist, it has yet to oppose the BOD’s alleged hegemony.

Rather than looking  for a ‘minority within a minority’  to flirt with, Burgon and the Labour party  would do well to  reinstate the Party’s flat rejection of racism of all types. If such an approach comes short of satisfying the Israel Lobby, the Labour party is free to continue without their approval. This is the only meaning of acting as a true opposition party.

It all paints a very grim picture. The Labour Party in its current form is an occupied zone. It is not occupied by Zionists, or Blairites, as we often hear, it is conquered by its own insanity.  The positive reaction to Burgon’s comments suggests that Labour supporters are still attuned to their party’s ideas. It is just the leadership that has drifted.

Farewell Jess Philips! Labour can only get back in with a massive deception. Really. But then what doesn't?

And then there were four. You saw that Month Python sketch with people dropping by a window and John Cleese and Eric Idle take gets on who jumps next?

Go on Nandy! There's nowhere else to go!

Anyone want to post "Don't be a fool, Nandy! Push Thornberry out instead!"?

The weird thing here is that as much as I can't stand the woman (she used to be my MP), I do now have a little bit of sympathy for her.

I'd have loved to have seen this "Brummie lass" as Labour party leader - and condemning them to even further political oblivion. 😁

While she does (somehow) enjoy some popularity amongst 'ordinary folk', it really says a lot about the hoops one has to jump through in order to stand any chance of becoming the leader of the Labour Party.

The Birmingham Yardley MP had struggled to win the support she needed in order to make it through to the final stage of the contest, in which party members and registered supporters choose the winner.

Ms Phillips had succeeded in winning nominations from 23 Labour MPs, putting her through the first round of the contest.

But to get through the second round, she required support from three organisations affiliated to the Labour Party, such as trade unions, or from at least 33 constituency Labour Party branches across the country.

And it appeared she was unlikely to get the support she needed. Rival candidate Keir Starmer has the backing of trade union Unison and nine constituency Labour parties, and candidate Lisa Nandy has the support of the National Union of Mineworkers.

But Ms Phillips had not been nominated by any unions, and did not appear to have been nominated by any local Labour party branches.

from: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/birmingham-mp-jess-phillips-withdraws-17605199

It is going to be impossible to unite any party that has so many factions within it, all vying to wrest control and get their 'chosen one' in place.

Labour is a hopelessly divided party, and it might be better off it it broke itself up.

I find it hard to be defending Jess Phillips, but at least she has a bit of character about her.

Whereas on the other hand, whenever I used to see Lisa Nandy on Question Time or This Week, she just had this 'gormless' air about her, like an empty vessel...

I'd hazard a guess this is a straight fight between the 'Corbyn Contiuum' Long-Bailey, or the 'Blairite Resurrection' Starmer.

Final thought, two great ways to pick a leader to 'reconnect' with the "working-class" people of the north...

Double-barrelled surname.

Rebecca Long-Bailey sparks Labour row after pledging to fight ‘transphobic’ women’s groups

Leadership contender under fire after backing campaign to expel party members for ‘bigoted transphobic views’

Rebecca Long-Bailey has triggered a furious row after signing up to a campaign to "fight" women's groups that it views as “transphobic” and expel offending party members.

The Labour leadership contender urged others to join her in backing a 12-point plan put forward by a group called the Labour Campaign for Trans Rights.

It demands the expulsion of anyone putting forward “bigoted transphobic views” – and names Woman’s Place UK and the LGB Alliance as “transphobic organisations” that must be resisted.

Woman’s Place, a group of Labour members campaigning for women-only spaces, said it “absolutely” denied that it was transphobic and called the accusation “defamatory”.

“We call on the Labour Party to demonstrate its opposition to this misogynistic abuse of women. Defend us or expel us,” it said in a statement.

The seat that endorsed Corbyn for leader have since voted almost unanimously for Starmer (because nothing says we need a Left alternative to the Tories than Sir Kier Starmer! Btw, he's not a member of the Trilateral goons is he?)

And Long-Bailey seems to be intent on making Labour go through their Lib Dem Jo Swinson phase before Long-Bailey even gets in.

Labour: the political wing of the Flat Earth Society

Deputy leadership candidate Dawn Butler says that babies are born without sex.

18th February 2020

Here we go again. Another day, another leadership hopeful has said something utterly ludicrous about transgender issues.

Dawn Butler, shadow equalities minister and candidate for deputy leader, was on Good Morning Britain yesterday. She was quizzed by Richard Madely on Labour’s ongoing trans row.

While Butler trotted out the usual clichés that ‘trans women are women’, she interrupted Madely to make an astonishing claim.

‘A child is born without sex’, she said: ‘A child is formed without sex in the beginning.’

It has to be seen to be believed:

For anyone who still thinks that the culture war is a fringe concern, here's a member of the Shadow Cabinet claiming that biological reality is "dog whistle transphobia". pic.twitter.com/UBYn7on8xi

— Andrew Doyle (@andrewdoyle_com) February 18, 2020

Here was a member of the shadow cabinet proposing a Flat Earth view of the world, denying the existence of biological sex.

More absurd still, Butler dismissed any deviation from rigid trans dogma as ‘dog-whistle transphobia’.

It is not the first time Butler has engaged in magical thinking.

In 2009, she claimed to have been endorsed as the MP for Brent South by none other than President Barack Obama.

‘I say to the people of Brent you should have the audacity of hope and when someone asks you can she do it, you respond yes we can’, said a gushing letter to the MP published on her website. Unfortunately, the parliamentary aide who wrote it gave the game away by consistently misspelling the president’s name as ‘Barak’.

Science has been a particular Achilles heel for the shadow minister. Not only does Butler believe that human babies are born with no sex, she also has some strange views on animals.

‘Ninety per cent of giraffes are gay’, she told a Pink News awards event. ‘Let’s just accept people for who they are and live as our true, authentic selves’, she added.

Labour’s slavish embrace of identity politics has not just alienated it from the general public, but from reality itself.

some of the stuff that comes out of the labour party is so insane that there are moments where i wonder if its done by design to make people vote the other way.....but then i remind myself of the orwellian idea of big brother trying to convince people to believe that 2+2=5 because once you can make things subjective instead of objective then you can dictate to people what reality is and in order for neo-marxist central government to take control it needs to be able to dictate to people what to believe because such a system of central control cannot allow for divergent opinion

A babies sex is often determined by ultrasound on the basis of its genitalia which is an objectively observable thing but this labour politicians seems to be telling us to discount objectively observable phenomena. Its a form of gaslighting...the labour party is trying to gaslight the british public by telling them that what is observable to the eye is actually just a figment of our imagination...

Labour MP stuns Richard Madeley with 'insane' comment babies are born 'without sex'

LABOUR MP Dawn Butler received a furious backlash on Twitter after she claimed "a child is born without sex" during a heated exchange with Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain.

PUBLISHED: 12:46, Tue, Feb 18, 2020 | UPDATED: 14:17, Wed, Feb 19, 2020
Ms Butler clashed with Mr Madeley over their definitions of transgender. The ITV Good Morning Britain (GMB) host stated that when a child is born "they are identified and observed in a particular way." The Labour Party politician hit back saying "a child is born without sex." Ms Butler's comments enraged some Twitter users and they did not hold back, with outspoken GMB host Piers Morgan simply writing "insane".

Mr Madeley asked: "Do you think somebody that embraces transgender but nevertheless decides that there is a biological difference based on chromosomes based on a penis that may not have been removed after surgery, are you saying that person is transphobic?"

Ms Butler replied: "If you’re saying that a trans woman isn’t a woman then there are issues around that.

"Taking about penises and vaginas doesn’t help the conversation because what you’re saying then is a trans woman isn’t a woman by your own definition."

Mr Madeley said: "You’re confusing the question with an opinion, I don’t hold that opinion at all."

The Labour MP said: "Explain the penis reference that you just referred to."

The Good Morning Britain host responded: "Look when a child is born they are identified and observed in a particular way."

Ms Butler said: "A child is born without sex at the beginning but anyway."

Mr Madeley replied: "I don’t hold these opinions I am wondering why the Labour Party has decided that it is not possible to have a discussion about them and you’re closing the discussion down."

Ms Butler said: "We haven’t decided that you can’t have a discussion about it but the Labour Party should and must be a safe space."

Some Twitter users reacted angrily to Ms Butler's comments.

Journalist Janice Turner said: "Dawn Butler, a Labour shadow minister: 'a child is born without a sex'. This is flat earthery. Where are the male rationalists and scientists exposing this insanity?"

Another tweeted: "How very odd. The sex of each of my five children was clearly recognised and correctly identified by the radiographers at the 20-week scans."
