Great War statue is defaced
By Peter Henn for the Mail on Sunday

A First World War memorial has been defaced with Extinction Rebellion slogans – sparking a furious reaction from the public.

The statue of Army commander-in-chief Earl Haig in Whitehall was daubed with the group's hour-glass symbol, along with the slogan 'Live simply and in peace', with a green heart above it.

The vandalism of the statue – 100 yards from the Cenotaph – took place on Friday night. It is not known who was responsible.

The statue is around the corner from Extinction Rebellion's Westminster Bridge blockade and the group's encampment in Trafalgar Square.

Social media users branded the graffiti 'disgusting' and 'disrespectful'.

Passer-by Clare Roberts, 43, from Surrey, said: 'People know what XR are all about, so defacing war memorials is wrong and pointless. They should stop doing things like this.'

But Green Party peer Jenny Jones said 'most of the people the Cenotaph represents would agree with the sentiment' of the graffiti.

This week, the protests will target the heart of the finance industry, disrupting transport into the City of London.

There will also be a mass hunger strike starting tomorrow in Parliament Square. XR says 1,704 volunteers have signed up.

Hunger strike next! Saves the plod having to fork out for gourmet vegan meals and their champagne socialist luvvie friends can save a few pennies donating to their meal funds.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7566515/Extinction-Rebellion-files-reveal-climate-zealots-paid-400-week.html

So, they've done Silly Walks impressions, hippie dancing, yoga movements, prostrations and chanting, splattering paint, glueing and chaining themselves to pavements and buildings, next is hunger striking.

What absurdities are next do you think?

Find some poor people...we're too white and middle class.

Extinction Rebellion activists have drawn up plans to attract activists who are 'poor' and from ethnic minorities in a bid to change the white, middle-class make-up of the movement.

A document seen by The Mail on Sunday reveals that members have considered an 'announcement to the working class'.

The proposed text says: 'Are you working class? We need you! We are incredibly keen to increase the socio-economic diversity of XR. If you are poor or working class and already a member, please get in touch,' with an email address underneath.

Minutes from last month's meeting of the group's head 'Anchor' group highlighted 'a lack of representation from disabled people and people of colour'.

In a June proposal to reach out to marginalised London communities, one member wrote: 'XR has been following the conventional model of virtue signalling ('yes, we agree working people are oppressed etc') and tokenism ('we need to get more black people into working groups' – as if this is just a matter of ordering them out of catalogue).'

The member bemoaned 'the almost complete absence of working-class people in the London office and the massive representation of Oxbridge graduates'.

Another activist says the movement 'needs to sound less hippy', while others fear the group's aim of mass arrests will alienate ethnic minority communities who historically suffered racial injustice at the hands of the police. One document admits this has caused an issue in the public perception of the group.

It said: 'If you were to come to our actions and only walk straight up to the people being arrested on the front line, such as the affinity group members blocking the bridges on Rebellion Day, you'd probably end up seeing the same type of people.

'This is where you'd likely see the 'stereotype' of XR: white, British national, middle-aged or a pensioner, middle-class, educated, and probably a Left-leaning Guardian reader.'

The documents also reveal that children are viewed as a key target for the organisation in winning support for their radical demands.

Spokesman Rupert Read published an online pamphlet in August which claimed: 'Imagine an October with tens of thousands of children and students on the streets of London.'

The protest group said last night: 'It is important that there is conflict within Extinction Rebellion over lack of diversity. We live in a racist system, and Extinction Rebellion and the people within it are not separate from that system.'

Sorry you lunatics, but "working class" people are too busy actually working for a living ( or actually looking for work if they are unemployed) and haven't time to waste joining your absurd doom cult.

PETER HITCHENS: One day it will be impossible to criticise the fanatics of Extinction Rebellion. Until then, I’ll tell the truth about those irrational zealots.

It will soon be impossible to criticise the fanatics of Extinction Rebellion.

In fact, I will not be at all surprised if, in years to come, I and others face prosecution for having dared to doubt them.

Soon we will be sitting in an impoverished, dark country, with a trashed economy, incessant power cuts and dismal standard of living, caused by their dogma.

Putting people on trial for warning against this will be one way to keep warm and occupied.

So, while I still may, I’ll say that this is one of the nastiest and stupidest outbreaks of intolerant, irrational zealotry since mankind emerged from the Dark Ages. I speak as a former intolerant zealot, who grew out of it.

I know the fierce joy which comes from despising others, only too well. And I fear it.

He is right- these fanatics are a danger to our life.

Quote

Perhaps the most dispiriting version of it is to be seen in the painted, beatific faces of the red-robed mime-artists who are to be found on so many of the demonstrations demanding that this country commits economic suicide.

Who can tell what is going on behind those self-satisfied, ethereal expressions? But they give these marches a strong whiff of the Age of Inquisitions, which I once thought we had escaped.

I won’t try to argue here on the rightness or wrongness of the Warmists’ theory about the causes of climate change.

I know from long, multiple experience that they respond to reasonable doubt with fury and defamatory cries of ‘denier’.

I spend much of my life in debate, and will take on any rational opponent. But there are some causes you can’t reason with, and this is one of them.

They prefer fury to logic. This is always the sign of someone who is not sure of his own case, and hates to hear his inner doubts spoken.

I have yet to get one of them to respond to this simple point. We recently closed and demolished Didcot ‘A’ coal-fired power station, an efficient, reasonably modern plant with a generating capacity of about 1.44 gigawatts.

Why? Why not at least mothball it? But no such caution is allowed in the great cause of cutting CO2 emissions.

Look at the facts: an enormous 259 gigawatts (180 Didcots) of new coal-fired capacity are under development in China. That’s on top of the 993 gigawatts of coal-burning capacity China already possesses (690 Didcots).

The UK’s whole electrical generation capacity, in all forms of power, is 85 gigawatts (59 Didcots). If we gave up using electricity entirely, it would make no difference at all to the impact of Chinese coal burning on the atmosphere.

None. Not any. Zero. If we completely abolish all our fossil-fuel generation, including gas, it would likewise not matter in the slightest – except to us, our economy and our standard of living.

China’s planned increase, yes, increase, in coal power is three times the size of our whole electricity-generation industry – wind, nuclear gas, and all. India is also increasing coal generation and last March reached a coal capacity of 200 gigawatts (139 Didcots).

I have said it before. I’ll keep saying it. Thanks to the political and media class’s dim acceptance of shouted propaganda, and their rejection of reason, we are already damaging ourselves.

Wind generation only functions thanks to huge hidden subsidies, paid for by the poor, and is vulnerable to power cuts unless it is backed up by fossil fuel or nuclear generation.

We are like a thirsty man refusing to drink from a tap because of a water shortage, while his local water company leaves hundreds of leaks unrepaired, allowing thousands of gallons to drain away each hour.

This is a futile, self-harming gesture. And these demonstrators, ignorant and engorged with self-righteous rage, demand more futility.

Will sane people have to glue themselves to aircraft and bridges to get anyone to listen? And if they do, will they be indulged by our politicised, biased police, as the Warmists are?

So, off we go into the cold and dark, while the red-clad propaganda mummers simper and gesticulate.

It's all very well for Roger Hallam, one of the founders of Extinction Rebellion to encourage people to be arrested and go to prison, but

what about the consequences?  Many of these so called "eco warriors"  are middle class well off people.  But what about the others,

who are working class people in jobs or seeking jobs?  A criminal record will greatly decrease their chances of finding employment, and

if in employment, they will probably lose their jobs.

greta thunberg and the green crusade...

''One day in May 1212 there appeared at Saint-Denis, where King Philip of France was holding his court, a shepherd boy of about twelve years old called Stephen, from the small town of cloyes in the orleannais. He brought with him a letter for the king, which, he said, had been given to him by christ in person, who had appeared to him as he was tending his sheep and who had bidden him go and preach the crusade. King philip was not impressed by the child and told him to go home. But stephen, whose enthusiasm had been fired by his mysterious visitor, saw himself as an inspired leader who would succeed where his elders had failed. For the past fifteen years preachers had been going round the countryside urging a christian crusade against the moslems of the east or of spain or against the heretics of languedoc. It was easy for a hysterical boy to be infected with the idea that he too could be a preacher and could emulate peter the hermit, whose prowess had during the past century reached a legendary grandeur. Undismayed by the kings indifference, he began to preach at the very entrance to the abbey of saint denis and to announce that he would lead a band of children to the rescue of christendom...''

cont...

''The seas would would dry up before them, and they would pass, like moses through the red sea, safe to the Holy Land. He was gifted with an extraordinary eloquence. Older folk were impressed, and children came flocking to his call. After his success he set out to journey round france summoning the children; and many of his converts went further afield to work on his behalf. They were all to meet there together at Vendrome in about a month's time and start out from there to the east.

Towards the end of June the children massed at Vendome. Awed contemporaries spoke of thirty thousand, not one over twelve years of age. There were certainly several thousand of them, collected from all parts of the country, some of them simple peasants, whose parents in many cases had willingly let them go on their great mission. But there were also boys of noble birth who had slipped away from home to join stephen and his following of 'minor prophets' as the chroniclers called them. There were also girls among them, a few young priests, and a few older pilgrims, some drawn by piety, others, perhaps, from pity, and others, certainly to share in the gifts that were showered upon them all''

Runcimans crusades cont...

''When the blessing of friendly priests had been given, and when the last sorrowing parents had been pushed aside, the expedition started out southward. nearly all of them went on foot. But stephen, as befitted the leader, insisted on having a gaily decorated cart for himself, with a canopy to shade him from the sun. At his side rode boys of noble birth, each rich enough to possess a horse. No one resented the inspired prophet travelling in comfort. On the contrary, he was treated as a saint, and locks of his hair and pieces of his garments were collected as precious relics''

The green crusade continued....(excerpts from runcimans crusades series)

12573064-6949843-Extinction_Rebellion_pr

''The citizens of marseilles greeted the children kindly. Many found houses in which to lodge. Others encamped in the streets. Next morning the whole expedition rushed down to the harbour to see the sea divide before them. When the miracle did not take place, there was bitter disappointment. Some of the children turned against stephen, crying that he had betrayed them, and began to retrace their steps. But most of them stayed on by the seaside, expecting each morning that god would relent. After a few days two merchants of marseilles, called, according to tradition, Hugh the Iron and William the pig, offered to put ships at their disposal and to carry them free of charge, for the glory of god, to palestine. Stephen eagerly accepted the offer. Seven vessels were hired by the merchants, and the children were taken aboard and set out to sea. Eighteen years passed before there was any further news of them''

Hallam is insane and needs to be jailed for at least 20 years. I agree with your comments. What is so disgusting ( aside from gaily ordering his mob to get as many arrests as possible) is the lies that billions of people will starve in  a few years time due to "climate change."  The irony is that if people do what he says and join XR and give up their jobs people will go hungry.

I noted that Hallam drives a car, rents offices with computers,  collects tons of money, uses mobile phones etc; all the things his "cult" claims to be against. Yet the people whose lives he rudely interrupts ( non drivers using public transport to get to work ), average people who use little energy are seen as the "problem."

I saw that headline on the web this morning. It is getting very close to a group of people attacking the XR mob. In fact I'm surprised this hasn't happened already ( not that I advocate violence but it would be understandable when Londoners have had to put up with this nonsense and chaos for weeks on end).

green crusade continued...

What I'm interested to know was who was stephens handler? Runciman says that stephen was handed a note by jesus himself! So it seems that someone who wanted to provoke another crusade was traveling around the country trying to manipulate gullible children and in stephen he found his useful idiot. It seems the person even impersonated jesus! Also Runciman says that some priests accompanied the children and perhaps they are the puppeteers. lets continue the story:

image036.jpg&f=1&nofb=1

''In the year 1230 a priest arrived in France from the east with a curious tale to tell. He had been, he said, one of the young priests who had accompanied stephen to marseilles and had embarked with them on the ships provided by the merchants. A few days out they had run into bad weather, and two of the ships were wrecked on the island of san pietro, off the south-west corner of sardinia, and all the passengers were drowned. The five ships that survived the storm found themselves soon afterwards surrounded by a saracen squadron from africa; and the passengers learned that they had been brought there by arrangement, to be sold into captivity. They were all taken to Bougie, on the algerian coast. Many of them were bought on arrival and spent the rest of their lives in captivity there. Others, the young priest among them, were shipped on to egypt, where frankish slaves fetched a better price. When they arrived at alexandria the greater part of the consignment was bought by the governor, to work on his estates. According to the priest there were still about seven hundred of them living. A small company was taken to the slave markets of bagdhad; and there eighteen of them were martyred for refusing to accept islam. More fortunate were the young priests and the few that were literate. The governor of egypt, al adil's son al-kamil, was interested in western languages and letters. He bought them and kept them as interpreters, teachers and secretaries, and made no effort to convert them to his faith. They stayed on in cairo in a comfortable captivity; and eventually this one priest was released and allowed to return to france. he told the questioning parents of his comrades all that he knew, then disappeared into obscurity....It was not the little children that would rescue jerusalem''

Extinction Rebellion has its own Jewish Group

The whole point about extinction rebellion is not really to combat manmade CO2 for example farage asks that activist in the clip above if a global tree planting effort would solve the problem and she says no because she is not really concerned about converting CO2 into  oxygen

This is because this isn't really about fighting manmade CO2. It is really a POLITICAL and ideological struggle that they are trying to couch in social justice language to conceal their true agenda. They hope that through faux-morality they can dupe the younger generation into blindly following their green crusade.

In truth what the people behind this are trying to do is to reshape society and i strongly suggest that the result would be an elite run TECHNOCRACY that would micro-manage everyones energy useage under the justification of needing to control your CO2 output

If we consider the power of the sabbatean-jewish network that dominates the global corporatocracy then we can understand the jewish support for extinction rebellion in that some of them might see the sabbatean-jewish run technocracy as the capstone of jewish supremacy over the global population

In effect the technocracy will hand power to the technocrats who run the system which in our society is the rothschild-cabal...

Just when one hopes the nutters might be going home they have made this announcement:

Extinction Rebellion plan 12 days of Christmas protests - London set for more chaos
EXTINCTION REBELLION are planning to cause Christmas chaos with 12 days of festive protests.

The environmental group caused havoc last month and are planning to do the same with 12 days of Christmas protests in the run-up to the general election. The group have stated that they want to make it the first-ever “climate change election” to send a message to the major political parties.

Spokesman Rupert Read said the upcoming protests would be aimed at politicians rather than members of the public.

Mr Read said: “We want to be pressuring politicians and candidates all around the country to do the right thing and prioritise climate action.  This has to be the climate election. The parliament that gets elected next month could potentially sit for the next five years, which will be crucial in reducing carbon emissions.”

Another member of the group, Marijn van der Geer, also encouraged voters to rebel within their own constituencies.

The news of the upcoming protests comes as the group won a court case which deemed the Metropolitan Police’s arrests of activists as “unlawful”.

Following the uprising in October, approximately 1,400 people were arrested, while a further 150 have been prosecuted.

In order to deal with the packs of protestors that descended on London, the Met Police issued a section 14 under the Public Order Act, where Scotland Yard demanded that the group “cease their protests” in the city.

After the act was deemed unlawful in the High Court, Mr Read said that the group was “reeling with delight” following the decision. He added: “The High Court ruling is not just good for us, it’s good for anyone who cares about the history of civil liberties.”

The group has stated that they will not be pursuing class-action suits against the police although any individual would be free to pursue their own case.

Following the hearing, a spokesman for the group said: “The result vindicates our belief that the police's blanket ban was an unprecedented and now unlawful on our right to protest.”

Hi everyone.

I dont get why they dont like C02 as its what plant feed on and we had the biggest increase of life on this planet when the C02 was fifteen times higher.

Theres plenty of actual evidence and stats online to easily disprove its a man made problem as the climate is Sun driven.

Even Corbyns brother agrees with this.

Theres more Polar Bears than ever, more green cos we plant loads of Trees and the Islands that were sinking are actually rising according to the data.

When I figure out how to post links and stuff I will do that to back up what Ive written.

I should qualify that a little , the demon infested ETs that control the illuminati (Cabal) want this ... they mind control the politicians and the idiots in ER
